In Cooking Mode

Haha I was craving for the chicken in lemon sauce in Greece these few days.
So decided it's time to welcome the big come-back of my culinary skills.
Ta-daaaaaaa.... Fish in Lemon Sauce!

Fish in Lemon Sauce. Specially prepared with herbs brought all the way back from Greece.

And fellow KMBians... do you still remember the mouth-watering 'tempe' cooked with fried anchovis+peanuts in thai sweet chilli sauce?
Haha yeaaaaa, it turned out really well on my dining table tooooo today!!
Very nostalgic indeeeed :)

Dinner that spelled 班门弄斧 :P

Singapore Sun i wanna see u soon!

Visited Willy and his family in Singapore for a week and now Im back in hometown

*mixed feelings ah mixed feelings......hmmmm.........*sob sob *hee hee *getting crazy.

Willy's parents are super nice and I really wanna salute his mom for being such a perfect housewife. Honestly, I've never met anyone better than her in keeping the house spick and span WITHOUT FAIL, making sure her family eats healthily and most of all, she remains cheerful and understanding all the times. Lucky Willy.Lucky lucky u! *whisper..im a bit envious of u lohh. Soup served on the table for every meal. Fresh fruit juice EVERY MORNING. hen xing fu!

And there was one night I drank with his eldest sister and daddy. Blue sapphire gin with 47% alcohol followed by nearly half a glass of red wine totally ruined my stomach's 'sanity' and er... I threw up like a Singapore's Merlion. LoL. And happily get scolded by Willy after that. I always lose grisp in controlling myself once my mood reaches its happiness threshold. How incorrigible!

The last time I visited Singapore before this was erm...maybe 11 or 12 years ago, tagging along with mom's school trip. The only thing I could recall was the Underwater World in Sentosa and a few teenagers in the cable cars who intimidated me with their fluent flow of spoken English - and I labelled these Singaporean kids as 'the-very-brilliant-ones from another world' since then.

When I revisited Sentosa with Willy this time, I was quite surprised that I could actually still remember where exactly the 'touch pond' was in the Underwater World. Seems like some memories are just meant to stay and remain whether we realise or not. And this time, Im sure love would embed the sweet and joyful moments in the memory lane in grain.

Ohh yea yea and the Pink Dolphins!! The 2 cute dolphins made my day and I've never felt so eager before just to see animals. Will was super funny as he kinda got jealous when I said those dolphins are the cutest creatures on earth. Haha. Laopo! They are the cutest ones AFTER you lahhh...

Met up with Adeline and her babe Chong for buffet-style steamboat. I was TOTALLY BLOATED as my stomach had this kiasu-ness to make sure every dollar worth the while. lol. Ade and Chong were SOOooooOOOooo loving. Even people around them also can feel the diabetic-ness liaozzzz. GET MARRIED SOON OK ADEEEE! ;)

快乐的时间总是容易过 Now I can finally understand deep deep the meaning behind this sentence . Dear Friday pls come faster come faster! Because...

SINGAPORE SUN, I WANNA SEE U SOOOONNNN!!!

*wahaha.

12/07/2009

I am finally back to my dearrrrr homeland after the dreadful 13-hour flight!
Always feel good to be home with daddy mommy and the 2 rascals around
although I wasn't excited at all when the air-steward announced the landing of our flight
Haha probably because I know this time is a real homecoming for me and a new phase of life is awaiting ahead in this land.
Mixed feelings are plenty and I need time to sort these outttt before they get overflown and turn me into an emo witch again
Heeee :D

Ok from now on I must sleep for seven-and-a-half hours a day with strict detox diet.
Must regain all the energy lost due to stress and sleep deprivation.
Haha daddy asked me to pick up yoga lessons but hmm... i prefer badminton lehhh
I must find out where to book a court and force mommy to be my badminton partner *evil laughss

Few more days to go before meeting darling in Sg.
Can't wait can't wait. Yayyyyyy :)

Ohh Ohhhhh
And I have so many plans in mind for tomorrow alreadyyy *whistle happily
By the way
Selamat Pulang ke Tanah Air, Sze Hwei :)

"Differences between Girls and Mature Women."
Just for laughs xD

♥ Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.

Matured women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits.

♥ Girls want to control the man in their life.
Matured women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.

♥ Girls check you for not calling them.
Matured women are too busy to realize you hadn't.

♥ Girls are afraid to be alone.
Matured women revel in it-using it as a time for personal growth.

♥ Girls ignore the good guys.
Matured women ignore the bad guys.

♥ Girls make you come home.
Matured women make you want to come home.

♥ Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.
Matured women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man.

♥ Girls try to monopolize all their man's time (i.e., don't want him hanging with his friends).
Matured women realize that a little bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special-and goes to kick it with her own friends!

♥ Girls think a guy crying is weak.
Matured women offer their shoulder and a tissue.

♥ Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.
Matured women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to reciprocate without fear of losing his 'manhood'.

♥ Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.
Matured women know that, that was just one man.

♥ Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, ignoring all 'signs'.
Matured women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you back and move on, without bitterness.

Came across this interesting article from someone's blog. Quite a good comparison, haha. But how many guys are mature enough to realise and cherish all the goodness hidden in every mature woman's act for them? Hmm.. *pondering

Anyway, Stella has gotten her final year results already! Got what I've expected and am really grateful for that :D Again, thanks everybody who helped me through all these years, be it directly or indirectly. Like Beng said, I love you all deep deep hor! :)
